Blackheath win with solid performance!

Blackheath 1st XI put in a solid performance on Sat 16/08/08 to beat Lindford 2nd XI at Lindford and keep their promotion hopes alive.
Blackheath won the toss and decided to bat and "The Heath" managed to declare early on 189 for 5 off just 42 overs. Paul Nash top scoring with 87 and in the process passing 500 league runs for the season. Congratulations Nashy!
Lindford were bowled out off 31.1 overs for 78 giving Blackheath victory by 111 runs. Dallas McDermott finished with figures of 6 for 29 off 16 overs.
With both Lurgashall and Alfold still to play the season is far from over!!
